The Hathersage Hurtle is an exciting new running and walking event in the Hope Valley for 2017 and from its’ huge success it will become a date for the diary for many walkers and runners for years to come.
I was very honoured to be selected as the Hurtle’s official photographer, but I could not have provided full coverage of the event without the help of a small team of photographers that pitched up at varying positions along this 20-mile course.
Thank you to the Hathersage Hurtle photography team:

Sarah Davis, Thornhill Trail
Diane Jones, Stanage Edge [www.fb.com/dijonesoutdoorphotography]

I covered the walkers that set off earlier, and also the start and finish.
The Hathersage Hurtle is organised by the Parents, Teachers and Friends Association of Hathersage St. Michael’s C of E (A) Primary School to raise funds for the school.
